Archway Readings

 
In August of 1997 two writers, Sandra Sherrod, who was then a gallery artist, and Donna E Perkins started monthly readings at Archway Gallery. These readings continue to this day and have developed quite a following. Donna has continued to facilitate these readings which are usually the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. Contact Donna to be included on the mailing list.

The Archway Readers, a group of Houston area writers, meet monthly at the gallery to share their words with one another. All genres are welcomed. We do not critique or censor. The only constraint is time. Readers are restricted to 5 minutes. There is time for about 12 readers each evening. Audience is welcomed!
