corporal vista series: photos of my paper dance sculptures

These photographs were shown in my solo show Exposure at Wagner Sousa Modern Art, Galveston, TX, January 28 - March 2 2012.

UV cured ink on burnished aluminum, 20" x 13"

While these images may seem abstract, they are photos of my Paper Dance 
sculptures.  I did manipulate these, but instead of adding color, I used as many
as four overlays of the original image. The light, from various sources, was augmented. The prints are of UV cured ink on brushed aluminum. Joe Aker of Aker Imaging in Houston was a terrific consultant for this process.

The title of the series is derived from the feeling that while these sculptures have a presence that references the human form, the photos suggest fantasy landscapes.
