"Entanglements" show at Archway Gallery, Houston, TX, June 2009
In collaboration with choreographer/dancer jhon r. stronks
This show was comprised of 30+ paintings using graphite and layers of clear and white gesso. The lines were drawn from the figure. Frequently these lines were drawn from dancers dancing. Many of the structural lines were drawn in jhon's dance classes. Often I covered the canvas with old book pages before beginning the drawing.
