Caliente: Full Frontal Color, Archway Gallery, Houston, TX, May 2011
This show was comprised of 32 brightly colored oil painting on canvas. The structural lines of these
were drawn from dancers dancing. The paintings are abstract, but there is a strong sense of movement
These paintings are a celebration of life. Many of the lines for the oil paintings were drawn in Lydia Hance's Frame Dance rehearsals. Special thanks to dancers Kristen Frankiewicz and Alex Soares.
